Valencia 2006
ITCA Conference and Trade Show Valencia
8th to 10th March 2006
Celebrating 25 years from its beginnings as IFCA, ITCA this year in Valencia turned on the style for more than 170 exhibitors and 1500 visitors and delegates.
In spite of a little noisy competition from football fans in town for entirely different reasons, ITCA was the big event that drew the crowds.
Much credit must go the stunning modernity of Valencia's facilities that provided such a splendid backdrop.
Much more must go to the team of distinguished speakers who maintained the high standards established over the last quarter of a century.
And even more must go to ITCA's faithful exhibitors themselves. The array of products and services so stylishly displayed this year was conclusive proof of
the industry's capacity for innovation and change.
The Mercury Award is the most obvious evidence of this characteristic, with Gulf Air this year taking the overall honours.
But providing massive foundations for the spirit of Mercury is a continuing ethos of improving service to the passenger by all participants, which remains ITCA's raison d'etre.
Saying Adios in Valencia to the first 25 years, we are already preparing a big Wilkommen to Cologne to open the next chapter of our history.
