140 Operator Companies (Airline, Train and Shipping) were represented at the ITCA event in Cologne.

Over 1,500 Professionals directly linked to the On Board Service Industry that is served by ITCA attended the show. 150 Exhibiting Companies were in attendance they all enjoyed some fine catering at the business lunches in the Hall as well as at the lively Boarding Party where a relaxed atmosphere interspersed with some great live entertainment all helped to provide an informal networking opportunity for the attendees who travelled from as far afield as Chile, Brazil and Outer Mongolia and New Zealand.

The Mercury Awards held again during a dinner event was again presented by Stephen White in an ‘Oscar’ type of ceremony with plenty of razzmatazz to go along with the fine dining. See for Mercury 2009 for full details.

The Conference element of the event featured some high profile speakers from the aviation and catering industry and included Will Whitehorn of Virgin Galactica, Graham Inglis of DHL, Percy of Airbus International and David Bryon recently CEO of bmibaby.
The Conference sponsored by DHL was enlightening, lively and entertaining as well as mind boggling ion parts.

The ITCA Hotels were linked to the event by ground transportation, sponsored this year by The Racket Group.
